Concurrency check for disconnected data

Hi all,

We are using a data-service in our project that gets appropriate data from database and stores it into local cache (datasets, datatables).

When we need to write modified data back to database, it should be checked for concurreny. To accomplish this we have written code to get the latest data from database and compare it with the original version of our cached data (DataRowVersion.Original). If both are same then the modified data is written to database.

It works fine but not an the way to do it. I think there should be some other way that requires less code and less overhead to do this. If anyone know on this topic then please give your suggessions..
