.NET VB DATABINDING : difficulties to bind a checkbox

1
In my windows form, I bind the 'checked' property of a checkbox to a column (data type = bit).
It works when I try to update the data source using this databinding.
BUT the problem is : when I try to add a new record, it doesn't work at all !

Is there any one to give me the way to keep both (bind 'Checked' property & add record).

I would have thought that you apply the property after the update. HTH.
