asp2.0 to asp1.0 web server

Hi!

I tried to deploy my asp2.0 application to our current webserver(windows 2000 and windows 2003). The problem is i can only view the code-behind of the page and i can't see the graphical scenario.

.asp applications are performing well.

for clarification sake,

our server is running .asp application and now, I'm trying to deploy my .aspx web application using the same webserver (windows 2000, and windows 2003).
The problem is I can't see the graphical image of my web pages. only the textfile. Another thing is that pagemaster is also not visible.

Thanks again!

Sorry, I still don't understand what you mean.
Are you saying that when you try to view your aspx pages you only see the ASP code instead of having the page rendered in HTML?

If this is the case, make sure that your server is configured to use ASP and make sure that your site on that server is also configured to us ASP.

Sorry for not clear explanation.
What i mean is that our server is currently configured to run .asp application. Now, I designed a .aspx (using visual studio.net 2005) web application and wanted to deploy it with the same server and found out problems on displaying the graphical representation of my web pages.

is it possible to deploy .asp and .aspx (asp.net) on the same server?
if so, what are requirements to configure server to use those two?

if not, what are the requirements to configure my server to use .asp.net 2.0 applications? could you give me a procedure on how.

thanks for your time.

It sounds like you do not have the proper framework deployed on your production server. If you want to deploy a 2.0 application on a server the server must also have the 2.0 framework installed.

That's maybe the answer.

Another quiry,
I already had a web application on asp.net 2.0 with MS SQL express as my database, my questions are:
Do i need to install SQL server on my intended server? and, how can i able to make a connection between my web application and database.

thanks!
