It means that it is now time to start using a proper usenet client rather
than the web interface provided by Microsoft. Common usernet clients for
Windows include Outlook Express (use the free OE Quotefix add-on to make it
more usable), Forte Agent and 40tude Dialog. I'd suggest Outlook Express
with OE Quotefix as it's probably the simplest to use unless you need
advanced functionalities. This will allow you to mark your own threads and
post and find them easily. It will also make browsing newsgroups and
reading new messages a lot easier and faster. You can use the free usenet
server provided by Microsoft (news.microsoft.com, no authentication
required) to start with.
