Hi all! I am working on a job for a C#/C++ developer for one of my clients. I know that they will have a very technical interview, and I wanted to develop some good screening questions for my initial interviews. I'm not very C# savvy, so any help is appreciated.
This is also in a Windows Mobile environment, so any additional questions pertaining to that OS would be great too!

Personally, I feel that the ability, and willingness, to learn the environment is more important than the knowledge of the framework. That being said, the knowledge of it is still important.
I would suggest seeing code snippets he/she has worked on before, checking if they adhere to a code structure that is appropriate. If time allows (or perhaps ask this prior to the interview), ask them to write a sample program that would do a small function that you might use (or already have) and compare how they went about doing it to how you would have done it. In addition, this will show if the code they use is obtrusive, unreadable, or neither.
Even if you dont know the language, you can scan through their code especially on a small application in C# and be able to see if they correctly and efficiently use object oriented coding styles and if the code is done well.
My two cents on the matter, and I will garauntee you that you will want to do more to filter your search.
