that autosave

I see there is supposed to be auto save in exel however, when I click on
tools in the word processor area on windows xp home edition, add ons or add
ins are not presented.
I would think most people would appreciate having the opportunity for auto
save when working on large documents that could be lost in the blink of an
eye when Microsoft encounters an error as it did to me today with the loss of
2000 words.
