Hi,
I have set up a SoapHttpRouter using .net 2.0 and WSE 3.0. This works, and
any call is processes within a reasonable amount of time. Then, I secured the
router using the MutualCertificate11Assertion. This causes all messages to be
encrypted/decrypted and signed/verified. This works great, but the call takes
about 600ms now, which is much, much more than it was before. I tried to find
out why, and pinned it down to the ProcessMessage invokation on the
ServiceInputfilter subclass within the MutualCertificate11Assertion. This is
where the decryption and the verification happens. I can understand that this
can take some time, but I think 500ms or so is unacceptably long and I do not
understand why this only takes so much time on the router, and not on the
client for the returned result message.
Can anyone spread some light on this issue for me?
