Deploying web Application built in .net 2.0 on webserver

Hi,I am new to .net 2.0 and have just built one web application and
deployed the application on web server. The problem which i am facing
is that if i make any changes in the .cs files or aspx files then
everytime i have to publish the site and give new upload for whole
site everytime which i feel is not correct way of doing it.and if i
give only appcode.dll file for upload then the application returns
some parse error but if i give fresh whole upload for the site then it
runs perfectly fine.I think i am missing some steps in deploying the
application as there would be some proper way of deploying the
application. Please help me in overcoming this issue.

Waiting for you response....
