work with binary images

hi
i am supposed to work with binary images and to count the object in it
But i dont know where to start from I mean i dont know what should i read to
be able to do this. Someone told to use GDI+ but i am not sure
Help me

You can't read objects from a binary file unless you know how it was serialized. If it has been serialized with a standard serializer then it should b easy to get the objects out of the file, but doing it without knowing alot about the format of the binary will not work.

If you mean binary images as in a picture then yes, look into GDI+
But finding objects in an picture? can be done of course but depending on the picture it won't be easy

But images don't have "objects" they are just a bunch of bytes encoded with color and pixel information.

They don't have instances of classes (the standard programming meaning of objects) but they do have physical objects. I did an image processing course where we had to differentiate some simple objects from a given black and white image once. You can use a high pass filter as a "dumb" edge detector and from that attempt to separate segments of the image... lots of ways to do it really... but whatever
