C# Disable Service

I need to disable a service (already on the system - not a newly created one) without using WMI. Any ideas? Shelley

Well I know how to stop them....

At a command prompt (or with Process in code)
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. NET STOP <service name, in quotes>
  2.
And I think somewhere in the registry the information on services is kept. So you could stop it and then mess with the registry to tell it be disabled?
