How to populate dblist object in vb.net

Can I ask for your help, please. I know how to make dblist object run in vb6. But how can I make it run in vb.net?? I noticed that it is already labelled as axdblist in vb.net. For example, how will I populate the axdblist object with author's names from authors field from biblio.mdb database?? And how can I display the selected item in a textbox. Thanks..

I suggest converting it to vb.net and avoid the headache of mixed platforms. Chances are you will have to do it anyway, so save time and do it now.
