shared assembly

Hi
This is vittal,i want some information
--------------------------------------------------------
-----shared assemly contining multiple versions,
1. i want to stop one versions in this assemly.
2. i want to shift one version to another version in this assemly.
pls can you giving any information for this concept.

In order to delete a share assembly from the GAC, use gacutil \u
In order to move to a different version, use publisher policy file.
