Passing Combo Boxes With Items

I have a main form that gets brought up once and a secondary form that the
main form may call and open repeatedly. The secondary form contains 7 combo
boxes, one for each day of the week, each of which will contain potentially
large lists of items. So much that the idea of loading these in the
secondary for each time it loads is not an option.

I want to load them in the main form and then pass them to the secondary
form pre-loaded. So on the secondary form I have a property like this:

Public WriteOnly Property cbxSunday() As ComboBox
Set(ByVal value As ComboBox)
cboSunday = value
End Set
End Property

And I call it on the main form as so:

frm.cbxSunday = cboSunday

When the value gets set on the secondary form, it tells me (via watch list)
that it got the combo box with all the items, yet, when I click on the drop
down.....it's empty.

Any ideas?
