Need help on dataset in VB.Net

Hi
I am new to Vb.Net from VB6. I am facing a problem with update data.
I have a project that will run in multy user envoirnment. I am facing multiple updates at same time that loses the data updated by previous user by overwriting/replacing by other.
Please help me to over come this difficulty.
Thanks
