Playback sound is off pitch

When I play back videos from news websites and from you tube the sound plays
back in a weird sounding alien voice how do i fix this problem

Hi vunderboy,

1. How is it related to .NET programming?
2. What is your sound card?
3. Do you have the latest drivers?
4. Is it a professionnal sourd card on which you can set the sample rate? if
it does, I bet you have the wrong sample rate. If you set if to be 96khz and
the video is 44khz, you are playing it at half it's speed...

I hope it helps, and you probably should post to a soundcard related group
or forum.
