Hi.
I'm writing a client for a web service in C# which requires a secure connection(https). So I must provide the service with a client certificate. Something like this:
webService.ClientCertificates.Add(myCert);
It works fine, but ONLY if that certificate is also installed in the Internet Explorer Personal Store. If it's not I get an exception from the server: "The request failed with HTTP status 400: No client certificate chain in this request."
Isn't there any way to send the certificate to the web service without the need to install it in Internet Explorer first?
Thanks.
