How to get WMI types using system.management?

I've queried some of the Win32_XXX WMI namespaces using the system.management
class and am looping through the resulting ManagementObjectCollection using
foreach in C#.

The problem is how do I discover the original WMI CIM types of the instance
properties in this loop? E.g. if a property is of WMI datetime format I want
to know this in the loop and do the conversion to .NET friendly datetime
format.

Example property: \root\cimv2\Win32_Directory\CreationDate

Cheers.
