App. setup in C# not working on another computer

HELLO,
I HAVE CREATED A SMALL APPLICATION IN C#. IT HAS BEEN COMPILED IN RELEASE MODE. I COPIED THE EXE FILE FROM THE RELEASE FOLDER AND PASTED ON ANOTHER SYSTEM's DESKTOP RUNNING WINXP SP2 HAVING FRAMEWORK 2.0 INSTALLED. BUT EXE DOES NOT RUN. THERE ARE NO DLL's IN MY APPLICATION. MY SYSTEM IS HAVING WINXP SP2 AND VISUAL STUDIO 2005 INSTALLED. EVEN I HAVE CREATED SETUP THROUGH SETUP AND DEPLOYMENT BUT THAT ALSO DOSEN'T WORK. WHERE'S THE PROBLEM ? CAN ANYONE TELL ME.

There is no app.config file in my application. I just created a simple application (which is having a simple crystal report) to deploy on another machine having dotnet framework 2.0. The error it shows when it is installed and try to execute the exe is the universal error of microsoft which says that "XXXXprj has encountered a problem and needs to close. Please tell Microsoft for this inconvenience." I tried on two-three systems but it did'nt work. Don't no what's missing ?
