comparing dates

Hello all,

I am creating a web page in c# to allow a user to select a date from a calendar and then enter a start and end time. The problem I am having is when I have a start time of 10:00 PM and an end time of 1:00 AM, I need to know if the date changes between these two times (passes midnight). I have used the following block to determine if midnight is between these two times, but I cannot get it to work. Can anyone assist?

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.
  2. if (DateTime.Compare(dtMidnight, dtLoginTime) < 0)
  3.         {
  4.             if (DateTime.Compare(dtMidnight, dtLogoffTime) > 0)
  5.             {
  6.                 DateTime dtDate = Convert.ToDateTime(strDate);
  7.                 dtDate = dtDate.Date;
  8.                 dtDate = dtDate.AddDays(1);
  9.                 strDate = Convert.ToString(dtDate.Date);
  10.
  11.                 strEndTime = txtEndTime.Text;
  12.                 intLength = strEndTime.Length;
  13.                 strEndTime = strEndTime.Insert(intLength - 3, ":00");
  14.                 strEndTime = strDate + " " + strEndTime;
  15.                 dtLogoffTime = Convert.ToDateTime(strDate);
  16.             }
