is ther a way to keep ToolStripMenuItem always shown ??

Hi ,

I have MenuStrip in a form and i've add a ToolStripMenuItem called toolStripMenuItemRoot.

I want the items of this toolStripMenuItemRoot to always shown.

At the beggining it's ok in the Form_Shown event i've placed:

toolStripMenuItemRoot.ShowDropDown();

i've been able to delegate the DropDownClosed event and in it i've

placed:

toolStripMenuItemRoot.ShowDropDown();

but if i click on the form the drop down items desapear and the toolStripMenuItemRoot.ShowDropDown(); cal does nothing.

calling this toolStripMenuItemRoot.ShowDropDown(); using a button works ok.

why?

the main goal is to keep the DropDown list always visable

please assist.
