First, i wanna apologize in advanced 'cause this may be not a dotnet or even a programming question.
I've been developing a custom role provider (C#). What it does is to retrieve the roles for a given user from active directory by extending the roleprovider base class.
To accomplish this, i need a domain account to query this values. I told this to my project manager and we tried it with an administrator account and it works fine. The problem is that we can't use a domain administrator account just for that.
So the problem i have to solve is to find what kind of account to create for that purpose, by giving that account the exact required rights, enough to query other users groups but no more than that.
If someone know about this, will be very helpfull.
