hi....i wann to use validation vd my few textbox...where as per user insert value....i.e if i wann in a text box i wann tht user insert only numeric, in another textbox user insert charactor, and anohter textbox user insert either charactor or numeric or both, which validation i used either seperate of single..and whtr the code of tht i use to do the same...i m using asp.net2.0 vd c#...plz help me.

hi friend,
u can use regular expression validatr for this.
to numeric only put this in expression to validate property=> [0-9]*
for char only==> [a-z]*[A-Z]* //for upper case & lower
for either ==> [0-9]*[a-z]*[A-Z]*
