401 error when using Reporting Services Web Service

P: 1
I'm using a Reporting Services web service in a web application built in VB.net. When I run the app in Visual Studio it works fine and I'm able to use the methods in the Reporting Services class, but when I move the app to any other environment including my local Inetpub/wwwroot directory, I get a 401 unauthorized error when accessing the reporting services methods.

This occurs when anonymous access is turned on or off in the web.config file and I am passing the DefaultCredentials to the application per this article - http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;811318

Could this be a setting I need to change in IIS? Any insight is appreciated.

You probably need to Install the latest Reportviewer DLL's.
