ASP.NET Performance issues

P: 56
hi everyone,

i love .net tech, and really love to work with the architecture. but somehow came to know that the performance of the application/website demotes when using ASP.NET (with proper architecture) in comparison to coding in php. this was really heart breaking, never cross checked this since i never worked on php and so dont knw it.

can anyone tell me if it is false, and how can i prove it.

another is SQL server - constraints , does they really consume a lot of time than to check for the same conditions in SP's.

thank in advance

The main performance is if you deploy in debug mode - could you clarify your problem. SQL queries should be chatty not chunky - ie short qeries perform better.
