Hi,

Why do you want to have a separate button to navigate to the previous page? Every browser has a 'Back' button which takes you back.

hi friend,
i am having a treeView and gridView in one page.
when i open the page, no node in tree will be selected and no document in gridview.
after i selected treeNode, grid will display some documents.
if click on grid button one new page will open to edit& add some more infomation. if the user don't want to continue means he can return to prev page by clicking cancel button. i am redirecting it to the prev page.
but it is opening the fresh page, without treeNode selected and nothing in gridView. so i need exactly what in (BACK)..so Plz guide me

hi,

have you tried javascripts?
you can navigate easily to previous page by using javascript(indirectly calling the explorers back button functionality)

hope this helps you ;-)

Don't be an idiot by giving stupid answer.

In .Net, just a simple call of "Request.UrlRefrerer.AbsoluteUri" will give u the previous page url.
