SpellCheck textbox

P: 37
I want to check the spelling of words typed into a textbox..

I added a reference to the "Microsoft Word 11.0 Object Library".. but, I'm not sure how to use the spellcheck. There's a couple different items that can be used, but I'm not sure how to use them.. "checkSpelling" and "spellingSuggestion(s)"..

Can anyone point me in the right direction here. I'm not sure how to iterate through a single textbox and check each word listed in it. I don't want to automatically change the words, I would like a suggestion box.

Thanks for any ideas!

The trick is that you have to have a Word document (but you keep it invisible) in order to check the Dictionary. http://msdn.microsoft.com/archive/de...ce10032002.asp will tell you more than you wanted to know! HTH --Sam
