New Visual Studio 2005 User: Windows Service VB.net

P: 2
I apologize now if the answer is somewhere else on this site but I was unable to find an adequate explanation. I have recently decided to create a Windows Service to act as a client for a processor sharing program. I have written all the code necessary and debugged in a windows application. Now, I am trying to create a service so that the client will run even when the computer has no user logged on. I have attempted to create a test service after much difficulty and finally got all the installation to work, or so I thought. I have run the Installutil.exe command and it reported a successful install. However, I can not see the service in the Server Explorer/Services area of VS2005, I have discovered the process WindowsServiceTest.vshost.exe so something must be working. Also, i am getting a rollback when i try to install again and an "Ignored" error when i try to uninstall. Does anyone have an explanation or maybe some insight as to what I am missing? Thanks for all the help!
