Display raw XML in an ASP.NET page

P: 6
Hello.
I've posted this question before and I don't think I received any responses. I have also searched this and other forums and my question is a bit different than the others.

I'm using ASP.NET 2005 runing on Windows XP. I would like to display raw xml in a browser from memory and not have to create a file on the file system. My need is to have the functionality that the browsers supply when displaying raw xml and, of course, I need the markup tags to remain unchanged.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you have the information in a ByteArray you can use Response.Write to send it to the browser.

The Variable xmlByte is a ByteArray that contains the raw XML from memory.

Dim ue As New UTF8Encoding
Dim XMLText As String = ue.GetChars(xmlByte, 0, xmlByte.Length)
Response.Write(XMLText)

Let me know if this helps
