hi, i am writing the above code,but it will give an error, the error is ' canot implicitly convert type string to 'System.Text.StringBuilder"

StringBuilder is a class, so you must create a StringBuilder object:

StringBuilder s = new StringBuilder("abc");
s.Append("def");
