Reading in a XSD file

I'm trying to read in a XSD file and not all my elements are showing up in my XMLSchema object. For example the following is an example xsd file i created in XMLSpy

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
  2. <!-- edited with XMLSpy v2007 sp2 (http://www.altova.com) (Programmer INC) -->
  3. <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" elementFormDefault="qualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified">
  4.     <xs:element name="loan">
  5.         <xs:annotation>
  6.             <xs:documentation>Comment describing your root element</xs:documentation>
  7.         </xs:annotation>
  8.         <xs:complexType>
  9.             <xs:sequence>
  10.                 <xs:element name="one">
  11.                     <xs:complexType>
  12.                         <xs:attribute name="oneAttr"/>
  13.                     </xs:complexType>
  14.                 </xs:element>
  15.                 <xs:element name="two"/>
  16.                 <xs:element name="three"/>
  17.             </xs:sequence>
  18.             <xs:attribute name="foo"/>
  19.         </xs:complexType>
  20.     </xs:element>
  21. </xs:schema>
  22.
The following is the code I use to read in the XSD file:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.             string file = "C:\\file.xsd";
  2.             using (XmlTextReader reader = new XmlTextReader (file))
  3.             {
  4.                 XmlSchema schema = XmlSchema.Read(reader, null);
  5.                 XmlSchemaSet set = new XmlSchemaSet();
  6.                 set.Add(schema);
  7.                 set.Compile();
  8.             }
  9.
But when i step over the set.Compile() line and look at the my schema object, it say it only has one element, which is the loan element. I'm just confused why the other elements aren't showing up in my schema object. According to XMLSpy its a valid XSD file.

Any Ideas?
