SQL Loop Using C#

21
Hi,
I am currently writing a program that calls a SQL query within C# and outputs value to cells within excel.
I am using (C#) visual studio 2005 and sql server 2000.

The query returns a single column with many values containg +- 30 rows.

Once this statement is called and output using the below statement:

[b]string Name = this.Monthly_NamesTableAdapter.getName().ToString( );
oSheet.get_Range("A1", "A1").Value2 = Name;
it only returns one value, which is the 1st value.

How would I retrieve the other values and assign them to a variable?
I know that I have to use a for loop to loop though each value, but i do not know the correct syntax to do this.

Please Help.

We're going to need a bit more background on that.
It looks like you are only grabbing one value from your dataset and assigning it to a single cell in your excel sheet though.
You may want to check for array properties (see if the intelli-sense picks up anything when you stick a [ after it) C# is pretty good about array handling and interating.
