Reconnecting to same endpoint via disconnected socket

Hi,

I developed a socket client application which connects to a server
application and axchange some data. I test Connected property of the socket
object and try to reconnect if its value is false before send any data. But
if Connected property is false and I try to connect to same server(endpoint)
a strange error occurs saying something like "You can only connect
asynchronously to same endpoint via discconnected socket because of
underlying limitations.".

To solve this problem (keeping it in blocking mode)
I create a new socket object everytime I need to reconnect to same server.

The question is what are those underlying limitations and is there any other
way (other than non-blocking connection and the one obove) to solve this
problem?

Thanks in advance.
