Getting bindingRedirect to work with an executable

Here is my config file for foo.exe. I have two versions of FooServer in the GAC, 1.0.0.1 and 1.0.0.2. "foo" was compiled for 1.0.0.2. I want it to use 1.0.0.1 but it still calls 1.0.0.2. Fuslogvw is not showing any problems. I can tell that foo is reading the config file, since putting bad values in there causes an error, but it seems to be ignoring the bindingRedirect tag.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<configuration>
<runtime>
<assemblyBinding xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1">
<dependentAssembly>
<assemblyIdentitiy type="win32"
name="FooServer"
publicKeyToken="541cd94e2f490278"
processorArchitecture="X86"
version="1.0.0.2"
culture="neutral" />
<bindingRedirect oldVersion="1.0.0.2"
newVersion="1.0.0.1" />
</dependentAssembly>
</assemblyBinding>
</runtime>
</configuration>

Welcome to the site. Have you tried removing version="1.0.0.2"?
