How to declare a managed struct array

Hi,

I'm new to MCPP. I'm basically a C# programmer and now I'm on a "unmanaged to managed CPP" porting project.

typedef __gc struct tgt_tree {
tgt_node_t* nodes;
int numleafsh;
int numleafsv;
int numnodes;

tgt_tree()
{
nodes = NULL;
}
} tgt_tree_t;
.
.
.
parentnode = &tree->nodes[tree->numleafsh * tree->numleafsv];

Gives the following:

error C2845: 'tgt_node_t __gc *' : pointer arithmetic not allowed on this type

In unmanaged CPP, I believe it's possible to access such a struct pointer either as *nodes or as nodes[int]. But in MCPP, I think a managed pointer is different from a managed array (atleast while reference). I tried declaring the above tgt_node_t* nodes; as a managed array (__gc). But then, that causes more problems.

I hope you now got an idea of what I actually am looking for. Please help me.
