i am doing to develop a software to an institute management. There is some ideal problems are there. every functions are ok but now i am with a problem

how to create a form as an students attendance register.
plz give an idea for it.

The idea of me asking you for clarification is so that you can provide me with more information not less.

This time why don't you try typing in more then one or two sentences. Describe the problem in detail, what your ultimate goal is and what you would like to accomplish. If you are trying to design a web form for students to input their information and then click on a submit button then that should be fairly simple to accomplish. The question is what kind of information are you going to need to collect from the student in order to keep a profile on them.

Well, if it was me I would have a list on the left hand side of the page that has the name of each student who is supposed to be in class. Then on the right hand side I would have two radio buttons, one that is labeled Attended and on that is labeled Did Not Attend.

sir i selected another way

add students list into a listbox and insert into a database which item i checked. the checked marks who didn't attended the class.unchecked will insert as present.

is i can move with it?

Hi,

You need to insert the transaction (attendence) on a daily basis. Usually the number of students present in the class are more than the absent. The radio button should be default status for present(checked). You need to uncheck the button for the absent students.

Thanx for helping me!! but I am created a new idea with the datalist control, with its checked property option it is really enjoying one and ease for use.
