What you may want to do is write your upload script so that it uploads the files to binary column in a table in your database. Once the file is stored into your database view your Application. You may want to write a service to render this information back as Binary Data using the columns ID to ensure you're retrieving the correct file.
I cannot change the code for the uploading part. I am using an Access database, so I am not sure how to do the binary column. Also, I am storing the file in a separate folder on the web server and I have unique names for the files. So I have the path to the file stored in a variable. How can I use this path to download the file onto the client machine?
