Drawstring before Scale and Translate Transforms

Hello everybody... this is a simple question, I'm newbiew on gdi....

I want to draw a string after some tranformations, but it doesn't works like I expected...

e.g.

public partial class UserControl1 : UserControl1
{
   ....
   protected override void OnPaint(PaintEventArgs pe)
   {
       g.ScaleTransform(GetScaleX(), GetScaleY());
 
       g.TranslateTransform(GetCenterX(), GetCenterY());
 
       DrawAxes(g);
 
       g.DrawString("here is the new center", this.Font, Brushes.Black, 0, 0);
   }
}

...it appears a line instead the text

What should I do?
