Document scanning help!!!

I’m new to programming and still learning my way around VB 2005. I need to develop an application that will scan a document and the save it to a folder. The application needs to assign the image a sequential file name (00001.tif example) as it saves each image and generate a folder for images to be stored. It will also have to insert the file names and file path into a SQL data base. Yeah I know…I’m not asking for much.

I’m able to call the twain driver and scan the document but after that I’m just stumped! Can someone point me in the right direction? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
