Outlook type calendar using DataGridView

We are expanding an application we wrote last semester for a course at school. It is written in VB.net with an Access data base.We were wondering if is possible to use Data Grid View to create a calendar like the one in Outlook. The application is going to be used to track reservations, so we would like a calendar type interface that can display mulitple events on any given day, week or month.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, or if anyone can point us in the right direction.

Thanks
