deleting .dll backup file..

I have found that i have a trojan "generic3.ggi" in my iacaiac.dll.bak file
and would like to remove it. After running Nortons and AVG, neither
anti-virus would remove it and if i just try to delete it, it would let me.
After doing a little research, i used smitfraudfix and that did not even
work. is there any way to delete the backup file or will it mess things up?
Also is there any thing else that i can try?

This is a .Net Programming newsgroup. You need to find one that is
