selecting things from a combo box

I need to be able to have a user fill in an array, called payables, of 5 different possible types, and then select from a combo box one of those payables in the array. After being selected the user hits the edit button which then pops up the box with all of the text fields already filled in. But there is 5 different types of payables. Im not sure how to go about doing this, can anyone help?

I think you are trying to do something like payment interface, like Master Card it has many digits, so you want user keys in all digits to some textboxs and then user picks one type of card then .....what?!!!! :D can't imagine more, if you don't mind to specify in details, sone may help out,

Im using visual C# by the way. I have a user that inputs info in an invoice, hourly employee, salaried employee, commission employee, or baseplus employee. When the user adds one of these payables, it is added to the combo box. The part number is added for the invoice and the social number for the employee types. Then when the user wants to edit a payable, they select one from the combo box. And then the box is suppose to pop up and have each field populated with the info stored in the array. Im not sure on how to get each field populated with the information that the user inputs. So when the user picks the payable he wants to edit from the combo box, and hits the edit button, i can get the correct box up but not sure how to go about populating the fields.
