Managed Code for "SendMessage" Function of user32dll

Hi,
I would like to know if there is any managed code that can replace the "SendMessage" function of the user32dll. Though the unmanaged code can be used in .Net, I would prefer to use a managed code.

Let me know if there is a managed alternate for this.

Regards
