sql data statements in vb.net 2003

i want this help

 sqlcommand("select * from table1 where fname= text1.text and lname=text2.text")
 

if i can do this step with vb.net

or placing a varialble in the position of textbox. is it a true way or solute it

Have you tried:

sqlcommand("select * from table1 where fname='" + text1.text+ "' and lname='" +text2.text+ "'")
