Code Executions Oddities

I have a slightly off topic problem with executing a .net application
on a customer's computer that I hope someone can help with. The
executables physically exist on a domain controller but cannot be
executed from a user computer who is logged into/authenticated on the
domain. If I copy the same executable onto the users computer it will
execute. I've adjusted .net security to the lowest possible level of
to no avail. The really bizarre thing to me is that the domain
controller is not visible from network neighborhood or from 'net view'
at the command prompt. This makes me believe that the .net framework
is attempting to execute the application in the context of the
internet, not the intranet. I don't see anything out of the ordinary
on the domain controller or the way users log onto the domain and I
cannot duplicate this behavior on my own domain. Has anyone else
experience this?
