Windows XP SP2 Error

Ever since the release of SP2 I have not been able to install it. After I
download and install when I do the restart to finish I come up with a blue
screen with this message
"Stop C0000221 Unknown Hard error SystemRoot\system32\ntdll.dll"

After that the only thing I can do is start up in safe mode and do a system
restore to before I installed SP2.
Any Help would be appreciated

Post your message to a newsgroup with "windows" in the description. They
are at the bottom of the dropdown list in the MS Discussion Group
interface. This is a .Net Programming newsgroup.
