I am using an internal fax modem - Smartlink voice modem (driver digital
signed by Windows). I used Microsoft Fax service, and have configured to send
and auto received fax. I can fax without problem, but I cannot receive any
fax. I have always had fax console appear on the screen. When there is a fax
coming in, no sound is heard, and fax console does not start and there is no
error message. The PC seemed like not knowing there is a fax coming in. I
have tried manually received fax and it can successfully received the fax, so
it can be said that the hardware has no problem receiving fax. The problem
is I have no idea when the fax is coming in, as there is no sound or
indication, so I cannot do the manual received. The sending party hear only
ringing tone, but no fax tone. Please help. Thanks.
