client server technology

hi all,

i have a windows applicaiton in my client machine, and the another windows application in server with database. i want to access data from the database through socket programming. is it possible or not.

please tell me.

yes i have client windows application in my machine, and they have windows application which communicate with wireless network . i want to access data about the wireless network through the windows application in their side.

can any one help me. i know i can do client server technology through sockets but can i access their database

try to use winsock ctrl if it is not there in the list create a vb app and convert it into .net u will get the sol
