Release or Dispose Com object (Activex dll) in asp.net

P: 1
I have created a activex component in VB 6.0 which is using MS Word object
library. I am calling this activex component in Asp.net application. This is
causing the Word.exe process to run under system processes. The problem is that i am unable to kill the Word.exe process on my machine and i have used all the methods known to relase it from the memory. I have used Dispose(),
ReleaseComObject method, gc.collect etc but this object is not freeing from the
memory causing my asp.net application not to work as per need.

Have you tried components.Dispose()?
