to add column from one table to another table

I want to select one or more columns from one typed datatable and add it to another table . how I can do this ?

Eg :-
table master
it has column masterid , mastername

now i select masterid and assign it to new comlunm.

Datacoloumn col = new DataColumn();

col = master.columns.masterid;

//upto this it is correct.

Now i want to add this column to another table.

DataTable tb = new DataTable ();

now if i add col to this table it gives error that

the col table is already belong to another datatable.

try using col.ColumnName=master.columns.masterid.ColumnName; or "Caption" instead of "ColumnName"
