Conections to IP in VB.NET

1
Me and my friends have been searching for quite a wile now and we can't find a way to make a program that can connect to a copy of it self on another computer (by using IP connection) and send information betwen the clients.

So what we want is an easy way to make our simple games that we created so far available for playing multiplayer through the internet by connecting to eachothers IP.

Could someone help us out by explaining or even give us a link to an easy tutorial?

Thanks in advance!
